Motorola XTS2500 Editing Guide

Edit the Scan List in the Motorola XTS2500 and XTS5000 Portable Radios
This is a short course on how to edit the scan list for a Motorola XTS series portable radio. Editing allows you to add or
delete channels in the scan list and set priorities. Upon completion of the editing you will be able to listen to the
customized scan list on your radio.
1. Press the ‘4-way Navigation Button’ left or right until ‘PROG’ appears on the screen. Press the
that is directly below the word ‘PROG’. ‘SCAN’ will then appear on the screen.
2. Select the button directly below the word ‘SCAN’ on the display to begin programming the scan list.
