• Cut the fruits or vegetables into
pieces after removing the stones and
thick skins.
• Place one of the two containers (m)
or a glass under the juice outlet (h) to
collect the juice.
• Place the other container (m) under
the pulp outlet (i) to collect the dry
extract (or pulp).
• Plug in the appliance.
• Turn on the appliance using the switch
(l)
The switch has 3 positions (Fig. 8):
- "On" to start the appliance
- "Reverse" is the reverse function. Use it
if the appliance gets blocked
- The middle position of the switch is
used to stop the appliance.
• Remove the pusher, introduce the cut
fruits or vegetables through the feed
tube. The fruits and vegetables must
be introduced only when the motor is
in operation.
• Push the food with the pusher, without
forcing it. Do not use any other utensil.
NEVER push the food with your fingers.
The juice flows into the juice container
(m) or into your glass through the juice
outlet (h), whilst the pulp, pips and skin
are ejected through the pulp outlet (i)
and collected in the second container
(m).
• After use, it is advisable to clean the
appliance quickly to prevent food from
drying out on the accessories (see
Chapter 7 "Cleaning and
maintenance").
• Choose fresh fruits and vegetables.
Wash them thoroughly. Cut them into
pieces to introduce them through the
feed tube.
•
You do not need to peel or remove the
pips from most fruits and vegetables,
except for those with very thick skins
(citrus fruits, bananas, pineapples, etc.)
or those with hard stones (peaches,
apricots, mangoes, etc.)
•Introducing hard ingredients can block
the appliance. If this happens, use the
"Reverse" function for a few seconds.
Caution: always wait for the juicing
screw (c) to come to a complete stop
in "0" position before restarting the
appliance. If it is still blocked, feed the
ingredients more slowly and cut them
into smaller pieces.
""!
• Caution: the parts are not dishwasher-
safe.
• It is easier to clean this appliance if
you clean it immediately after use. To
make cleaning easier, you can first
rinse it by pouring a glass of water
through the feed tube during
operation.
• Then unplug the appliance to clean it.
• Do not use scouring pads, acetone,
alcohol (white spirit), etc. to clean the
appliance.
• Use the brush (n) to clean the grids (d
and e) and the tip of the brush to
clean the pulp tab (j).
• Clean the motor unit with a damp
cloth. Dry it carefully.
• Never immerse the motor unit in
running water.
