When the text message is complete, select [Options] > <Send to> and enter the
number(s) of the recipient(s) using the numeric keypad or add them from the
phonebook. When the message is ready and the recipient is added enter [Options] >
<Send> to send the message.
Messages display
Enter: [Menu] > [Messaging] > [Inbox], choose a message from the list and select
[View] to see the message itself.
Phonebook
Adding a new contact
Enter [Menu] > [Phonebook] > [New contact]. Select the storage location for the
contact: on the SIM card or in the phone memory Enter the contact details: name,
phone number. Press [Options] > [Save] to save the contact.
Search for a contact
Enter [Menu] > [Phonebook]. Enter a letter to narrow your search to the contacts
starting with that letter. To find another contact use navigation buttons <Up> and
<Down>. After searching and selecting a contact enter [Options] and a list of available
options will appear:
• [View] - to view the name and phone of the contact.
• [Send text message] - to write and send a text message for a selected number.
• [Call] – to call a number from contact.
• [Edit] - to edit the contact details.
• [Delete] – to delete a chosen contact.
• [Copy] - to copy a contact from/to SIM.
• [Mark several] - to mark several numbers and delete them or send a text
message.
• [Direct Number] - to assign fast dialing of one or two numbers to the <M1> and
<M2> buttons.
• [Photo call] - up to 8 numbers can be set with photos and individual ringtones.
Option can be used on the main screen by selecting <Down>.
• [Phonebook Settings] - allows you to set up a speed dial and view the memory
status.
Deleting contacts
To delete a single contact enter search for the contact you wish to erase and enter
[Options] > [Delete] > <Select> > <OK>.
SOS button settings
myPhone Halo S phone has got an SOS button It is placed at the back of the phone.
To activate the SOS button, select [Menu] > [Settings] > [SOS]. A menu with the
following settings will appear:
• [Set SOS] - here you will switch on/off an SOS feature.
• [SOS Message] - you can enter your own emergency message content, which will
be sent to the specified number after pressing the SOS button. To save the
changes select [Options] > [Done].
• [Set SOS numbers] - you can enter up to 5 numbers that your phone will call
