  If your MQ Multiquip Trowel engine is running rough or not at all, there are several things to check. First, ensure the killswitch is in the ON position; if it's faulty, replace it. Next, inspect the fuel system to confirm fuel is reaching the engine and that the fuel filter isn't clogged. Finally, verify that the ignition switch is receiving power and functioning correctly.

  If your MQ Multiquip Trowel experiences clutch slipping or sluggish response, several factors could be at play. Start by checking the V-belt for wear and replace if necessary. Inspect the centrifugal clutch for dirt and clean it if needed. If the clutch is defective or worn, replace it entirely. Also, examine the hand clutch for proper adjustment. If the gearbox shaft rotates with difficulty, check the input and output shaft bearings and replace if necessary. Finally, verify that the gearbox shaft rotates when the input shaft is rotated; replace both the worm and worm gear as a set if there are worn or broken gears in the gearbox.
