Inspect all wiring and repair any loose connections. * A defective AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) might be the cause. If so, replace the AVR. * The rotating rectifier could be defective. Check the rectifier and replace it if necessary. * A defective exciter field can also lead to this issue. Check for approximately 17.3 ohms across terminals J & K on CN1.
