Battery Pack Removal

Unlock Button Operation

Move the 'Unlock' button base to release the battery.

Battery Pack Release

Release the 'Release' button and slide out the battery pack.

Bottom Door Assembly Removal

Bottom Door Screw Removal

Remove 6 screws (M2.5*5.5mm) to detach the bottom door.

HDD Module Removal

HDD Module Detachment

Remove 2 screws (M2.5*5.5mm) and detach the HDD module.

HDD Bracket Removal

Remove 2 screws (M3*4mm) and detach the HDD bracket.

Thermal-Kit, CPU, DRAM, and Wireless Components

Fan Removal

Remove 2 screws (M2.5*5.5mm) and fan cable to detach the fan.

Heatsink Removal

Remove 8 screws (M2.5*4.5mm) to detach the heatsink.

CPU Module Removal

Open CPU slot and remove the CPU module.

RAM Module Removal

Push RAM side shields and remove the RAM module.

Wireless Antenna Removal

Remove 1 screw (M2*3.5mm) and detach the wireless antenna.

Optical Drive Module Removal

ODD Module Detachment

Remove the ODD module as shown in the picture.

ODD Bezel Removal

Detach the ODD bezel as illustrated.

ODD Bracket Removal

Remove 2 screws (M2*3mm) and detach the ODD bracket.

Separating Upper and Lower Case

Keyboard Removal

Release keyboard hooks and remove the keyboard assembly.

Connector and Cable Removal

Push connector and remove the cable.

Power Board and Touchpad Cable Removal

Open connector, then remove power board and touchpad cable.

Screw Removal (M2*3.5 mm)

Remove 5 screws (M2*3.5mm).

Screw Removal (M2.5*5.5 mm) - Set 1

Remove 10 screws (M2.5*5.5mm).

Screw Removal (M2.5*5.5 mm) - Set 2

Remove 11 screws (M2.5*5.5mm).

Speaker and MIC Cable Removal

Detach the speaker and MIC cable.

LVDS and Power Cable Removal

Detach the LVDS and power cable as shown.

Upper Case Screw Removal

Remove 2 screws (M2.5*5.5mm) to detach the upper case.

Lower Case Assembly Removal

Left I;O Board Removal

Remove 3 screws (M2.5*4.5mm) and detach the Left I/O board.

T;P Board Removal

Remove FFC, 2 screws (M2.5*4.5mm), then detach T/P board.

Main Board Removal

Remove 3 screws (M2.5*4.5mm) and detach the main board.

Right I;O Board Removal

Remove Bluetooth cable and 1 screw (M2.5*4.5mm) to detach Right I/O board.

Left LCD Hinge Screw Removal

Remove 2 screws (M2.5*5.5mm) securing the left LCD hinge.

Right LCD Hinge Screw Removal

Remove 2 screws (M2.5*5.5mm) securing the right LCD hinge.

Power Connector Screw Removal

Remove 1 screw (M2.5*5.5mm) and detach the power connector.

Speaker Removal

Detach the speaker assembly.

Upper Case Assembly Removal

Power Board Removal

Remove 2 screws (M2*3.5mm) and detach the power board.

USB Board Removal

Remove 1 screw (M2*3.5mm) and detach the USB board.

Touchpad Module Removal

Release connector and detach the Touchpad/Power module.

LCD Module Assembly Removal

Cover Rubber Removal

Remove the 4 cover rubbers.

LCD Bezel Removal

Remove LCD bezel starting from the top, then sides.

Left Hinge Cap Removal

Remove 1 screw (M2.5*4mm) and detach the left hinge cap.

Right Hinge Cap Removal

Remove 1 screw (M2.5*4.5mm) and detach the right hinge cap.

Left Hinge Screw Removal

Remove 4 screws (M2.5*4.5mm) securing the left hinge.

Right Hinge Screw Removal

Remove 4 screws (M2.5*4.5mm) securing the right hinge.

Display Module and Camera Cable Removal

Remove 4 screws (M2.5*4.5mm), camera cable, and display module.

LVDS Cable Removal

Detach the LVDS cable from the display module.

Display Module Screw Removal

Remove 8 screws (M2*3mm).

CMOS Camera Module Removal (First Instance)

Remove the CMOS camera module as pictured.

CMOS Camera Module Removal (Second Instance)

Remove the CMOS camera module as pictured.

Wireless Antenna Board Removal

Remove the Wireless Antenna board from the LCD cover.
