Primary/Secondary Master/Slave UDMA
Ultra DMA/33 implementation is possible only if your IDE hard drive
supports it and the operating environment includes a DMA driver
(Windows 95 OSR2 or a third-party IDE bus master driver). If your hard
drive and your system software both support Ultra DMA/33, Ultra DMA/
66 and Ultra DMA/100 select Auto to enable BIOS support. The settings
are: Auto, Disabled.
VIA OnChip PCI Device
Press <Enter> and the following sub-menu appears.
VIA-3058 AC97 Audio
Auto allows the mainboard to detect whether an audio device is used. If
the device is detected, the onboard AC’97 (Audio Codec’97) controller
will be enabled; if not, it is disabled. Disable the controller if you want to
use other controller cards to connect an audio device. Setting options:
Auto, Disabled.
VIA-3043 OnChip LAN
The field determines whether the onboard LAN controller will be
activated. Setting options: Disabled, Enabled.
Onboard LAN Boot ROM
The items enable or disable the initialization of the onboard LAN Boot
ROMs during bootup. Selecting Disabled will speed up the boot process.
