Installng the NVIDIA MedaSheld Software Under Wndows
(for Non-bootable RAID Array)
The exstng Wndows Seral ATA drver must be upgraded to use the NVIDIA Seral
ATA drver.
Ths secton descrbes how to run the setup applcaton and nstall the RAID software
whch wll upgrade the Wndows SATA drver and nstall the RAID software.
Start the NVIDIA nForce Drvers nstallaton program to open the NVIDIA Wndows
nForce Drvers page.

Select the NVIDIA MedaSheld.

Clck Next and then follow the nstructons.
After the nstallaton s completed, be sure to reboot the PC.
After the reboot, ntalze the newly created array.

Important
Make sure that the “NVIDIA Storage Drver” s selected. You must nstall the NVIDIA
Storage drver n order to enable NVIDIA MedaSheld. If you do not nstall the
NVIDIA Storage drver, NVIDIA MedaSheld wll not be enabled.
