Lubrication
1. Lubricatepivotpointson thebladecontrolat least
oncea seasonwithlightoil.Thebladecontrolmust
operatefreelyinboth directions.SeeFigure5-1.
2. Lubricatethewheelsatleastoncea seasonwith
lightoil (ormotoroil). If wheelsareremovedfor any
reason,lubricatesurfaceofthepivotarmandinner
surfaceof thewheelwithlightoil.SeeFigure5-1.
3. Lubricatethetorsionspringandpivotpointoneach
endof the reardischargedoorandthe sidemulching
plugperiodicallywithlightoil topreventrust.See
Figure5-1.

2. Removeflapfromoppositeholeand replacewithnew
flapinthe oppositeorderandmannerof removal.
