7.10.4 Mixture coolant – Draining
Preconditions
☑ Engine is stopped and starting disabled.
WARNING
Coolant is hot and under pressure.
Risk of injury and scalding!
• Let the engine cool down.
• Wear protective clothing, gloves, and goggles / safety mask.
Draining mixture coolant
1. Provide a suitable receptacle to catch the coolant.
2. Open drain valve at drain point in coolant line to mixture coolant cooler and drain coolant.
