What to do if my MULTIQUIP Power Tool is hard to start but has spark?

If your MULTIQUIP Power Tool is difficult to start even though fuel and spark are present, consider these possibilities: The ON/OFF switch might be shorted, so check the switch wiring and replace the switch if needed. The ignition coil could be defective, requiring replacement. The spark gap may be incorrect, or the points might be dirty; set the correct spark gap and clean the points. A worn or short-circuiting condenser could also be the issue, in which case, replace the condenser. Lastly, the spark plug wire might be broken or short-circuiting, necessitating replacement of the defective wiring.
