Another cause could be a slipping clutch, so check or replace the clutch. Also, check for a slipping V-belt and adjust or replace it. If there's excessive oil in the vibrator, drain the excess oil and fill to the proper level. Finally, a malfunction in the vibrator housing could be the problem; check the eccentric, gears, and counterweights.
