If there's a document in the ADF,
remove it.

Press COPY/FAX
to change to Fax mode.

Open the platen cover.

Place the document on the FBS glass
face down and align it to the right
front corner.
Close the platen cover.
Enter the fax number.

Regarding the ways to enter the fax
number, refer to step 3 on page 2.
Press DOCUMENT SIZE to
select the document size.
Adjust resolution and contrast,
if necessary.

Press START .
Sending a fax using the FBS glass
If you want to send more pages,
place the next page, then press
NEXT DOC .
When you have finished scanning all pages,
press
START .
