Overview

This document describes the Nahita series 631, 632, and 636 ovens and incubators, designed for drying samples, material disinfection, and maintaining cell and microorganism cultures in research, hospital, or industrial laboratories.

Function Description:

The Nahita ovens and incubators are versatile laboratory instruments. The Series 631 Plus models are natural convection drying ovens, while the Series 632 Plus models are forced air drying ovens. The Series 636 models are incubators. All models feature a furnace-painted steel exterior and an easy-to-clean stainless steel inner chamber. A double glass window allows for observation of sample evolution without disturbing the internal environment. The control panel includes a Func button (2.1) for function selection, up (2.2) and down (2.3) buttons for parameter value adjustment, and a left arrow button (2.4) to navigate digits. The PV display (2.5) shows the real temperature, and the SP display (2.6) shows the set temperature. Indicators include AT (2.7, out of use), OUT (2.8, resistance working), and ALM (2.9, alarm).

  • Fuse: 5A to 10A
  • Power: 220 V, 50 Hz ± 10%

Usage Features:

  • Installation: Place the equipment on a horizontal, stable table, ensuring ventilation grilles are unobstructed. Avoid proximity to heat sources, direct sunlight, and flammable/toxic products. Use the supplied trays at desired heights. Connect to a 220 V, 50 Hz ± 10% AC power supply with an earth wire.
  • Operating Mode: Before first use or after relocation, allow 2 hours before turning on. Press the on/off switch (1.2). The PV display shows real temperature, and SP shows the set temperature.
  • Working Temperature Adjustment: Max working temperature is 250 °C for ovens and 80 °C for incubators. Press Func (2.1) until "Sp" appears on PV. Use up/down buttons (2.2, 2.3) to select temperature, and the left arrow (2.4) to move between digits. Press Func (2.1) twice to start heating. Adjust ventilation grilles (1.3) as needed. An alarm sounds if the real temperature exceeds the set temperature by 10 °C (ovens) or 5 °C (incubators).
  • Working Time Adjustment: By default, working time is off (continuous operation). To set a specific time: wait for the equipment to reach the set temperature, press Func (2.1) twice until "Sr" appears. Use up/down buttons (2.2, 2.3) to set time (1-9999 min) and left arrow (2.4) to navigate digits. Press Func (2.1) to start countdown. An alarm sounds and "STOP" is displayed when time expires. Press left arrow (2.4) for 2-3 seconds to silence the alarm or restart the programmed time. The left arrow (2.4) can stop a programmed time, but continuous operation is stopped via the on/off switch.
  • Auto-adjustment: Important to perform before introducing samples. Program the work temperature and press the up button for 5 seconds. The "AT" LED will illuminate during auto-adjustment and turn off when complete. Repeat 2-3 times for better precision.
  • Configuration of parameter SC: To adjust temperature if discrepancies are found with an external probe: press FUNC until 'LOCY' appears, then again until 'SC' is displayed. Set value to '0000' (default). Press FUNC to save and return to general display. For fine adjustment of real temperature, select the difference (positive or negative) in tenths of a degree.
  • Internal Parameters: Access by holding FUNC until "LOCY" is displayed, then enter password "8000" and press FUNC. Parameters include P, I, D, R (auto-tuning parameters, not user-modifiable), ALI (over-temperature alarm, factory preset 10.0°C), ER (time counting mode: 0001 for time starts on ST confirmation, 0000 for time starts when stove reaches temperature), DP (decimal mode: 0000 for no decimals, 0001 for decimals), PT (heating/disconnection ratio, not user-modifiable), SPL (lower temperature limit, not user-modifiable), SPH (upper temperature limit, not user-modifiable).

Maintenance Features:

  • General: This manual is an inseparable part of the apparatus and must be available to all users. Follow all applicable safety and health laws. Handle the equipment carefully, avoiding sudden movements, knocks, and spills. Do not dismantle the equipment for self-repair, as this voids the warranty and can cause injury. Avoid dry or dusty environments. Unplug immediately if issues arise.
  • Security: Use by qualified staff only. Ensure proper electrical connection with earth wire. Unplug when not in use for extended periods. Always switch off and unplug before cleaning, checking components, or replacing parts (e.g., fuse). Do not attempt repairs; contact your distributor or Nahita Technical Assistance Department. Avoid spilling liquids on the control panel.
  • Cleaning: Never use scourers or abrasive substances on metallic parts (stainless steel, aluminum, coatings) as they can damage the equipment and accelerate aging. Use a fluff-free cloth dampened with soaped water that does not contain abrasives.
  • Important Note: Equipment that is not properly cleaned and disinfected will not be accepted for repair by technical service.
  • Warranty: The equipment is protected under Warranties and consumer goods regulation (10/2003). Overhaul, operations by non-qualified staff, fuses, accessories, and deterioration due to time are not covered. Keep the invoice for warranty claims.
  • Environmental Protection: At the end of its life cycle, dispose of the equipment at a collection point for recycling electrical and electronic appliances. It does not contain dangerous or toxic products. Materials are recyclable. Inquire with community administration for authorized disposal locations.
