• The CD may be damaged or dirty. Try cleaning the CD.
• The CD uses a copy protection system, which does not conform to the CD Audio
standard (Red Book Standard). Return the CD to the retailer and ask for a CD that
conforms to the CD standard.

• The CD is not inserted correctly. Place CD centrally in the drawer, printed face up.
• The CD is dirty. Clean disc and insert again.
• The CD is damaged in the Table of Contents (TOC) area. No remedy; the CD is
unusable.
• The CD player has become very cold (e. g. in transit) and condensation has formed
on the laser sensor optics. Allow the unit to warm up for about an hour in a warm,
well ventilated location.
