8.2.1 The Function of the Battery
Internal GT30 data is backed up in the following ways:
Screen data
GT30 configuration data
Stored in the F-ROM. (No battery backup required.)
Hold PLC Device data
Clock
data
Stored in the SRAM. (Backed up by battery in option card)

In order to prevent the battery from discharging, an insulation sheet is inserted.
Before turning on the power, always remove the insulating sheet.
As noted above, in order to back up the various types of data stored in the SRAM, the
insulation sheet should always be removed before turning on the power supply.

Explanation of this function
* Battery Performance
Battery performance, when operating at a normal temperature of 25°C, a normal
humidity of 65% RH, and a voltage of 24V DC, is as follows.

CAUTION
If the battery voltage drops too low, the BAT LOW flag of the basic
communication area map goes on. If the battery has run down
completely, the BAT flag of the basic communication area map goes
on. Please be aware that the BAT flag goes on the first time that the
power supply is turned on after the unit is purchased, even though
the battery insulation sheet has been removed.
When replacing the lithium battery, insert the new battery within 20
seconds of removing the old one.
