4. To remove the solenoid plunger, remove one of the E-Clips and flat washer (M6).
Withdraw the Solenoid Shaft releasing the spacers and spring.
5. Reassemble in the reverse order
Note: When refitting the solenoid plunger ensure that the spring hook is in contact
with the side of the spring spacer.
Note: After replacing the Flat Target solenoid, it is recommended that a good quality
Silicone Grease is applied to the solenoid shaft and to the supports for the
solenoid spring.
After replacing the solenoid, ensure that the solenoid position is adjusted
correctly. (See section 6-6 page 45)
