Note Memory upgrades are available from National Instruments under the
following orderable part numbers:
• 1 × 16 GB DDR4 SDRAM for RMC-8356 (1 × 16 GB DIMM)
Memory Installation
Note National Instruments recommends using 16 GB DDR4 SDRAM, UDIMM
ECC 2133 MHz memory modules purchased from National Instruments. Other
off-the-shelf DDR4 UDIMM modules are not guaranteed to work properly.
Caution Exercise extreme care when installing or removing DIMM modules to
prevent any possible damage. Also, note that the memory is interleaved to improve
performance.
Memory Support
The RMC-8356 supports up to 64 GB registered UDIMM ECC DDR4 2133 MHz in 4 DIMMs.
