Why is my Navien Heater making noise?

  If you notice noise coming from your Navien Heater, it could be due to the initial high-speed motor operation. When first connected, the unit may run in high-speed mode for about 3 minutes to supply water, which can cause a rotating noise. This should stop afterwards. Also, if the unit has been plugged in but not used for a while, the motor might run intermittently to circulate water in the mat.
