How to fix a Naxa DVD Player remote that is not working?
    • T
      Timothy WallJul 27, 2025
If the Naxa DVD Player's remote control isn't working, first, ensure a new CR2025 battery is installed. Check that there are no obstructions between the remote and the player's sensor, and that you're within 15 feet of the sensor. If the unit has shut down, try switching it off, disconnecting it from the power outlet, reconnecting it, and then switching it back on.

If your Naxa DVD Player won't play a disc, make sure the disc is loaded correctly with the label side facing up. The disc might be incompatible with the unit, so check the 'About Optical Discs' section of the manual to ensure compatibility. Also, the disc could be dirty or damaged; try cleaning it, but heavily scratched or damaged discs may be unplayable.

If there's no picture, the picture is distorted, or the buttons aren't working on your Naxa DVD Player, it could be due to several reasons. First, reset the player to its factory default settings by following these steps: 1. Turn the unit off and then back on. 2. Press twice. 3. Press SETUP once. 4. Press / once. 5. Press / five times. 6. Press twice. This will reset the TV type option to AUTO. Also, try cleaning the disc, as scratches, dirt, or warping can cause issues. Ensure the unit is properly powered using one of the included power adapters. Finally, static electricity might be interfering; try switching off and unplugging the unit, then reconnecting and switching it back on.
