Working staff must have undergone professional training provided by manufacturer prior to
installation and maintenance work.
This unit can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the unit in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the unit. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not
be made by children without supervision.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Prior to cleaning or maintenance, the unit must be disconnected from the supply mains.

The NCCO Air Treatment Unit, Model No.: EC920, is an indoor air purification device designed to improve air quality through a multi-stage filtration and treatment process. It is intended for use in areas ranging from 20 to 90 square meters.

Function Description:

The unit employs a five-stage treatment system to address various air pollutants:

  1. Pre-Filter: Removes larger particles such as dust and hair.
  2. Static Filter: Further removes fine dust.
  3. Active Oxygen Generator: Sterilizes and decomposes odors and pollutants.
  4. HEPA Filter: Removes dust, hair, and airborne particles such as allergens, pollen, bacteria, viruses, and fungus.
  5. NCCO Reactor: Removes odors, decomposes and oxidizes formaldehyde, VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), and other harmful pollutants.

Usage Features:

The unit can be controlled via a control panel with LED indicators or a remote control.

  • ON/OFF Button: Powers the unit on or off.
  • Eco Mode Button: Activates Eco Mode, which sets the air speed to 03 and extinguishes all indicators for quiet operation.
  • Air Speed Reduce/Increase Buttons: Adjusts the fan speed from 01 to 10, or to "SS" (Turbo) mode.
  • Wind Up & Down Button: Controls the movement of the air grid, allowing for adjustment of the swing-flap angle.
  • Timing Button: Sets the operation time from 1 hour to 9 hours.
  • Sleep Mode: After 8 hours of continuous operation, the unit automatically enters Sleep Mode for 30 minutes, during which all indicators are extinguished. It restarts automatically after the sleep period.
  • Display Auto-Off: If no action is performed for 1 minute, all indicators and the display screen on the control panel will extinguish, while other functions continue normally. Press any button to reactivate the indicators.
  • First-time Operation: Upon initial connection to power, the unit will auto-power on with air speed at 03. For optimal performance, it is recommended to operate the unit for 15 minutes during the first use to allow catalytic oxidation in the NCCO Reactor to optimize its capacity.
  • Air Change: Ensure there is at least 1 air change per hour when operating the unit.
  • Remote Control: The remote control uses a 3V lithium battery (CR2025). Batteries should be removed if the remote is not used for a long period.

Maintenance Features:

Regular maintenance is crucial for the unit's performance and longevity.

  • Filter Replacement:
    • Pre-Filter: Clean every 2-4 weeks.
    • Static Filter: Clean every 2-3 months.
    • HEPA Filter: Replace every 6-12 months.
    • NCCO Reactor: Replace as available to sustainable use.
  • Filter Replacement Reminders: The unit provides reminders for HEPA Filter and NCCO Reactor replacement on the control panel. "HP" indicates HEPA Filter replacement, and "NC" indicates NCCO Reactor replacement.
  • Cleaning:
    • Machine Body: Clean with a soft, dry cloth.
    • Air Inlet and Outlet: Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to clean the air inlet and outlet.
    • Pre-Filter: Clean with soap or detergent.
  • Safety Precautions for Maintenance:
    • Always disconnect the power supply before any service or care maintenance work.
    • Working staff must have undergone professional training provided by the manufacturer prior to installation and maintenance work.
    • Do not attempt to repair the unit at your own discretion; contact the manufacturer or an authorized service provider.
    • If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, authorized service provider, or similarly qualified personnel.

Installation Guidelines:

  • The unit is for indoor use only.
  • Ensure good air circulation and sufficient fresh air.
  • The installation site should have enough area for unit to have a smooth airflow.
  • The unit is not intended for installation near the exhaust air duct or window.
  • Power supply should be available at the installation place, with correct frequency.
  • Install the unit according to government regulations and local electrical rules.
  • Install two insurance steel wires at the kitty corner of leading screw for steadiness.

Disassembly:

  • To disassemble the unit, first remove it from the ceiling by loosening the leading screws with a screwdriver.
  • At least two operating personnel should hold the unit when disassembling to prevent it from falling.

Safety Instructions:

  • Risk of electric shock may cause injury or death.
  • Do not insert anything between air outlet blades.
  • Never spill liquid into the unit; if this occurs, immediately disconnect power and contact an authorized service provider.
  • Do not place objects over the unit.
  • The unit is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by personnel responsible for their safety.
  • Juveniles should be supervised to prevent mishandling.
  • Never rinse or soak the static filter, HEPA filter, or NCCO reactor with water.

Disposal:

  • Recycle or dispose of packaging material in an environmentally friendly way.
  • Do not dispose of the unit as unsorted municipal waste; use separate collection facilities. Hazardous substances may leak into underground water if disposed of improperly.
