Handset profile
Handset profile allows you to change the handset operation mode to suit different situations: Standard profile, Meeting
profile (quiet surroundings), Outdoor profile (when carrying your e313 in a pocket or a bag) and Car profile (while driving).
Under Select profile, you can change the active handset profile. By changing the following setting items, you can also
customise each profile to make it more useful.
The active Handset profile can also be changed from the Home Screen. Press the Options menu key on the Home
screen and select a profile option.
Item Description
Ring volume Adjusts the ringing volume level from Silent to Level 6 (loud).
Ringtunes Selects the ringtune for incoming voice calls, video calls and messages.
Illumination Sets the illumination for voice calls, video calls and messages. Select a Pattern
from three options.
Vibration pattern Selects the vibration pattern.
Backlight Backlight: Selects the backlight ON/OFF and brightness settings.
Backlight time: Sets the backlight lighting duration between 10 and 60 seconds by
one second step. The default is 15 seconds.
Note : The backlight will remain illuminated in the following conditions: Backlight is
set to "on" (High, Medium or Low); current profile is Car profile; the handset
is being charged.
Other settings Key tones: Turns on/off the key sounds. The key sound is output when any key is
pressed.
Coverage tone: Turns the coverage tone on/off. The service tone notifies that e313
is in service area.
Auto answer: Turns the auto answer function on/off. When the headset is attached,
this function automatically answers the call 5 seconds after the call is first received.
Valid for all incoming calls.
