m Selecting “POSITION”
This function is used to select the vertical area mode for the
“POSITION-SHIFT” adjustment.
To do this, proceed as follows:
1) Use the CURSOR buttons to select “POSITION” and then
press ENTER.
• The “POSITION” menu will be displayed.
2) Use the CURSOR or button to select either “WIDE” or
“NARROW” and then press ENTER.
• The screen will return to the “SOURCE INFORMATION”
screen.
• Select “WIDE” in normal operation.
Items to select
• WIDE ....... Adjustment area is wide.
• NARROW. Adjustment area is narrow.
NOTE: Selecting “NARROW” may solve problems caused by an
interlace input signal.

m Setting “FONT”
This function is used to specify the appropriate font size to the
on-screen message.
To do this, proceed as follows:
1) Use the CURSOR buttons to select “FONT” and then press
ENTER.
• The “FONT SIZE” menu will be displayed.
2) Use the CURSOR or button to select either “NORMAL”
or “SMALL” and then press ENTER.
• The screen will return to the “SOURCE INFORMATION”
screen.
Items to select
• NORMAL . Calculates the appropriate font size with the
vertical scanning lines to display the on-screen
message in the appropriate size.
• SMALL .... Displays the on-screen message in the font size of
75 percent of the NORMAL size.
