PIEDINO PER PIEGHETTATURE
1.Regolazione tensione per pieghettare:

2.Sostituire il piedino regolare con il piedino pieghettatore.
3.Bloccare entrambi gli strati di tessuto
approsimativamente 1,5 cm all'interno e 4 cm giù.
Alzare la parte anteriore del piedino pressore per
collocare il tessuto.
4.Porre il tessuto da pieghettare sotto il piedino pressore.
Porre il tessuto che rimarrà diritto tra il piedino pressore
ed il pezzo metallico inferiore.
Spingere la porzione immorsettata attraverso la fessura
nel piedino. Abbassare il piedino pressore.
5.Ruotare il volantino per eseguire 4÷5 punti sul tessuto,
assicurandosi di prendere entrambi gli strati.
6.Sopraggittare. Usare entrambe le mani per guidare il
tessuto.
Tenere presente che lo strato inferiore del tessuto si
muoverà più in fretta, mentre viene pieghettato.
GATHERING/SHIRRING FOOT

2.Replace regular presser foot with gathering foot.
3.Clip both fabric layers approximately 5/8" (1.5 cm.) inside
and 1 1/2" (4 cm.) down.
Lift front of presser foot to place fabric.
4.Place fabric to be gathered underneath the presser foot.
Place fabric which will remain straight between presser
foot and lower metal piece. Push clipped portion through
slot in foot. Lower presser foot.
5.Turn handwheel to make 4 - 5 stitches in the fabric,
making sure to catch both upper and lower layers.
6.Serge. Use both hands to guide fabric, one on the under
layer of fabric. Keep in mind that the lower piece of fabric
will move faster as it is gathering than the top piece.
