Power on the reader by holding the center button, then enter username and password.
Choose Standard Test or Quick Test and select the correct site.
Draw a 4"x4" square, filling it with vertical and horizontal back-and-forth motion.
Hold the sampler vertically and fully depress to activate it.
Gently mix the sample for two seconds, avoiding shaking.
Hold the instrument upright, press the eject button, and insert the sampler.
