SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
In order to protect end users and operators from injury, safety precautions
must be followed. This Installation, Operation and Maintenance Manual (IOM)
outlines important safety issues. The following WARNING SYMBOLS will
be found throughout the manual to alert the end users to take important
precautions:
EYE PROTECTION
This symbol indicates that eye protection must be worn to
protect from UV light as well as debris.
HAND PROTECTION
This symbol signifies that hand protection must be worn to
protect the lamps from skin oils as well as protect the operator
from UV light and sharp materials caused by a broken lamp/
quartz.
ELECTRIC SHOCK WARNING
This symbol signifies electrical shock possibility. Failure to
observe this warning may lead to serious injury or death.
CAUTION
This symbol indicates a potentially dangerous situation. Failure
to adhere to this warning may lead to serious injury and/or
death.
INFORMATION
This symbol signifies helpful information.
