What to do if the LED is blinking repeatedly on my Netgear Computer Hardware?
    • M
      Michele GallowayJul 27, 2025
If the LED is blinking repeatedly, it means the wireless PC Card is trying to connect to the access point but cannot. Make sure the access point is powered on and that both the access point and the PC card have the same wireless parameters. Verify the SSID and WEP settings.

      Jeffrey HaasAug 6, 2025
If you can connect to an access point but can't see other computers on the network, it could be due to a physical layer or network configuration issue. Ensure the access point is physically connected to the Ethernet network. Also, check that the IP addresses and Windows networking parameters are configured correctly.

    • J
      Joseph StewartAug 15, 2025
If the PC Card LED is not lit, the wireless PC card might not be inserted correctly, or the WG511 802.11g Wireless PC Card software isn't loaded. Try removing and reinserting the wireless PC Card. Check the Device Manager in Windows to see if the PC Card is recognized and reload the driver if needed. If available, try installing the WG511 in a different PCMCIA slot.
