This document describes the NETTA 5L Air Cooler, a household and indoor appliance designed to provide cooling and humidification.
Function Description
The NETTA 5L Air Cooler is primarily designed to provide a cool wind function, ideal for dry or hot weather. It features three fan speeds (high, medium, and low) and offers three wind types: normal, sleep, and natural. The appliance includes an oscillating function (air swing) for broader air distribution. A timer can be set for both 'standby' and 'start-up' states, with a cycle sequence of 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-0-1 hours. The cool wind function can be activated or stopped with a dedicated button; if the indicator light flashes, it signals that water needs to be added to the tank. The appliance also incorporates a safety switch that prevents it from operating if the honeycomb filter support is not properly installed.

Usage Features
The air cooler is designed for ease of use with both a control panel on the unit and a remote control.
Water Tank Management:
The water tank is a crucial component for the cool wind function. Users can feed water into the tank in two ways:
- Pull out half of the water tank and add water directly without disassembling the water pump module.
- Separate the water pump module and fully pull out the water tank to feed water or clean it.
To access the water tank for cleaning or full water addition:
- Pull the water tank buckle to the horizontal state.
- Pull out the water tank to the indicated position.
- Unscrew the rotary knob 90° anticlockwise to separate the water tank from the water pump module (including the water pipe).
- Slowly pull out the water tank to clean it or add water.
- After cleaning or adding water, install the water pump module by inserting the front hook into the slot of the water tank, then rotating the rotary knob 90° clockwise to close it.
- Push the water tank back in slowly and return the buckle to the vertical state.
Ice Crystal Box Usage:
The appliance includes an ice crystal box to enhance cooling.
- The ice crystal box can be frozen repeatedly and recycled.
- Users can choose whether or not to use it based on the ambient temperature.
- It should be kept closed to prevent damage and leakage.
- Made of eco-friendly and toxic-free materials, it can be refrigerated safely.
- When a frozen ice crystal box is placed in the water tank, the temperature at the air outlet will drop when the cool wind function is active.
- Ice blocks can be used as an alternative to the frozen ice crystal box.
- The water level in the tank must always be monitored, ensuring it never exceeds the "MAX" indicator line and does not fall below the "MIN" level during humidification.
To use the ice crystal box:
- Pull out half of the water tank from below the machine.
- Take the ice crystal box out of its packaging and place it in a freezer for more than 3 hours.
- Place the frozen ice crystal box into the water tank and add water up to, but not exceeding, the "MAX" indicator line.
Control Panel and Remote Control:
Both the unit's control panel and the remote control offer similar functionalities:
- Startup/Standby: Activates or shuts down the product.
- Air Swing: Starts the oscillating function.
- Wind Speed: Selects high, medium, or low wind speeds. The remote control uses "+" and "-" buttons to increase or decrease wind speed.
- Wind Type: Chooses between normal, sleep, or natural wind types.
- Timing/Reservation: Sets a timer for shutdown or startup (1-7 hours). The remote control has a dedicated button for setting timed shutdown/reserved startup.
- Cool Wind: Starts or stops the cool wind function. An indicator light flashes if water is needed.
The remote control should be used within 5 meters of the front of the product.
Maintenance Features
The NETTA 5L Air Cooler requires minimal maintenance, but proper care ensures longevity and optimal performance.
- General Maintenance: Do not attempt to fix the appliance yourself; always use a qualified servicer or electrician.
- Cleaning:
- Before cleaning or assembling, ensure the fan is unplugged.
- Keep the vents at the rear of the motor free of dust to ensure adequate air circulation.
- Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth soaked in a mild detergent.
- Avoid abrasive detergents, solvents, gasoline, or thinner, as these can scratch the surface.
- Prevent water or any other liquid from entering the motor housing or interior parts.
- Plastic parts should be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap, then thoroughly wiped dry to remove any soap residue.
- Clean accumulated water at the bottom of the water tank promptly when the product is left unused.
- Wet Curtain Cleaning:
- Remove the wet curtain support.
- Rotate the bottom buckle and remove the wet curtain.
- Take out the wet curtain for cleaning.
- Re-install the wet curtain and support once finished.
- Water Replacement: After stopping the 'cool wind' function, wait 2 minutes for water in the pipeline and wet curtain to flow back into the tank, then pull out the water tank and replace the water.
- Troubleshooting:
- Product not operating: Check if the power cord is properly plugged in or has good contacts. Ensure the machine switch is open.
- Reduced air volume: The wet curtain may be dirty and requires regular cleaning.
- Cool wind function abnormalities: Check if the water tank lacks water.
