Overview

The New Holland BB9000 Series are large square balers designed for efficient and high-capacity baling operations, available in various configurations to suit different agricultural needs. The series includes the BB9060 (Standard, Packer Cutter, Rotor Cutter) and BB9080 (Standard, Rotor Cutter) models, each offering distinct features and capabilities.

Function Description

These balers are primarily used to compress and tie agricultural forage (like hay or straw) into large, dense square bales for storage and transport. They feature a "Super Sweep™ Pick-Up" system to gather material from the field, a "CropCutter™ System" for precise chopping (on cutter models), a "Feeding System" to move material into the bale chamber, a "Plunger" to compress the material, and a "Tying System" to secure the bale with twine. The "Bale Density System" allows for controlled bale density, and an "Electronic Control System" provides operational monitoring and control.

Important Technical Specifications

Bale Dimensions:

  • BB9060 Models: Produce bales with a width of 31.5 inches (800 mm) and a height of 35.4 inches (900 mm).
  • BB9080 Models: Produce wider bales with a width of 47.3 inches (1200 mm) and a height of 35.4 inches (900 mm).
  • All models can produce bales up to a maximum length of 102.3 inches (2600 mm).

Tractor Requirements:

  • Minimum PTO Power: Ranges from 102 hp for the BB9060 Standard to 150 hp for the BB9080 Rotor Cutter.
  • PTO Speed: All models require a 1000 rpm PTO speed.

Hydraulic Remotes:

  • Single axle models require 1 hydraulic remote.
  • Tandem axle models require 1 or 2 hydraulic remotes depending on the specific model.

Main Drive Protection:
