touchesthelterhead.
Tightenthelterto19–23N·m(14–17lbft)
NOTE:donotusealterwrenchfortighteningthelter.
Overtighteningcandamagethelteranditsseal.
8.Installthecoverofdrainplug.
9.Addnewengineoiltotheengine.Installthellingplug
(2).
10.Runtheengineforseveralminutestocheckthatthere
arenoleaksatthelterandatthedrainplug.
11.Stoptheengineandchecktheoillevelwiththedip-
stick.Addoilifnecessary.
NOTE:alwayswait15mintoallowtheoiltoreturntothe
sumpbeforecheckingtheoillevel.
