Why is my New Holland Farm Equipment engine overheating?
- MMarcia LynchAug 13, 2025
If the engine of your New Holland Farm Equipment overheats, several factors could be responsible. It could be due to a faulty water pump, which would require checking and possible replacement, including the gasket. A malfunctioning thermostat should be replaced. Restricted coolant openings in the cylinder head and cylinder groups need washing with specified descaling products. A slack water pump drive belt should be checked and adjusted for tightness, or if equipped, the automatic tensioner setting should be verified. Ensure the coolant level is adequate by filling the radiator and recovery tank to the correct levels. Incorrect engine timing or calibration of the injection pump must be corrected. Lastly, a blocked air cleaner should be cleaned or replaced.
