This document outlines the features, usage, and maintenance of a dehumidifier, designed to improve air quality and comfort in indoor environments. The device is capable of being controlled via the Mi Home App or Xiao Ai, and can also be interconnected with other smart home devices for enhanced functionality.

Function Description

The dehumidifier's primary function is to remove excess moisture from the air, thereby reducing humidity levels in a room. This is achieved through a continuous dehumidifying process, which can be adjusted to a desired humidity level. Beyond standard dehumidification, the device offers a dedicated clothes drying mode, which helps to dry laundry more efficiently in humid conditions. It also features a water pump for automatic drainage, allowing for continuous operation without manual water tank emptying. An integrated lamp provides illumination, and a child lock feature ensures safe operation by preventing unintended changes to settings. The device is equipped with a Wi-Fi indicator to show connectivity status, a humidity condition indicator to display the current humidity level (humid, comfortable, or dry), a defrost indicator for low-temperature operation, and a full water tank indicator.

Usage Features

Getting Started: Before initial use, all packaging must be removed, and the dehumidifier should be allowed to settle for at least two hours before connecting it to a power supply. It must be plugged into a single outlet. Ensure the water tank is correctly installed; if the "water tank - FULL" indicator light is on, the tank needs to be removed, drained, and reinstalled.

Operation Modes:

Power On/Off: Press the power button to start the dehumidifier from standby mode or to stop operation and enter standby mode.
Continuous Dehumidifying: This mode allows the dehumidifier to operate continuously, regardless of the ambient temperature, to dehumidify the space.
Setting Humidity Level: When the dehumidifier is operating, pressing the set humidity button cycles through desired humidity levels: 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, and back to 30%.
Clothes Drying Mode: A dedicated button activates this mode for drying clothes. Pressing other function buttons will stop clothes drying mode and revert to dehumidifying.
Timer Function: The timer button can be used to set a power OFF time when the unit is operating, or a power ON time when it is on standby. Each press cycles through time settings: 1, 2, 4, 8, 12 hours, then exits the setting, and repeats. After setting the timer, users can select the desired mode (dehumidify, set humidity level, or clothes drying).
Water Pump (ON/OFF): This button activates or deactivates the automatic drain water function. When activated, the water pump automatically drains water, eliminating the need to manually empty the water tank.
Lamp (ON/OFF): Pressing the lamp button turns all indicator lights off; pressing it again turns them back on.
Child Lock: To activate or deactivate the child lock, press the timer and water pump buttons simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds. When the child lock is active, all function buttons are disabled.

Indicators:

Wi-Fi Indicator: Blinks when powered on and awaiting connection to the Mi Home App. It remains solid ON once successfully connected. A long press of the timer button for 5 seconds performs a factory reset, indicated by a beep sound.
Humidity Condition Indicator: This light changes color to reflect the current humidity: ORANGE for humid, BLUE for comfortable, and GREEN for dry. It is OFF before the dehumidifier is turned on.
Defrost Indicator: Illuminates when the unit is in defrosting mode, which occurs periodically in low-temperature environments. If the product freezes, unplug it and allow it to defrost internally before restarting. The product should not be used if the temperature consistently falls below 5°C.
Main Water Tank - FULL Indicator: Lights up when the water tank is full, at which point the dehumidifier automatically stops operating. The tank must be emptied and reinstalled for operation to resume.

Continuous Drainage: For continuous drainage, the dehumidifier should be placed in an environment conducive to draining.

Twist open the drainage cap.
Connect a drain hose. The drain hose must be positioned lower than the dehumidifier's drainage hole and should not be unevenly placed or overbent.
For water pump hose installation, hold the pipe connector and connect it to the water pump hole at the back. The water pump will automatically drain water when it reaches a certain level. To disassemble, twist the knob clockwise to loosen the hose.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance ensures the dehumidifier's efficiency and longevity. Always power off and unplug the power cord before any repair or cleaning for safety.

Cleaning Outer Cover:

Use a soft, clean cloth to wipe the outer cover.
For dusty or dirty covers, use a gentle cleaning agent, then wipe it off with a wet cloth.
Do not rinse the unit with water to prevent electrical leakage.

Air Filter Cleaning: The air filter is crucial for removing dust and dirt from the air. A clogged filter can reduce the dehumidifier's efficiency. Weekly cleaning is recommended.

Pull out the filter rack.
Use a vacuum cleaner or rinse the filter with water, then wipe it with a cloth.
Reinstall the air filter to resume dehumidifier use.

General Precautions:

Never unplug the power cord as a method to turn off the machine.
Avoid using extension cords, damaged power cords, or plugs.
Do not insert fingers or any objects into the air inlet and outlet areas.
Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the product.
Keep the unit away from heating devices like stoves or heaters.
Regularly wipe dust from the power cord.
Ensure the water in the water tank is drained.

Avoid using it in high-temperature or flammable areas.
If the temperature near the drainage area is below 0°C, avoid using the continuous drainage function.
Do not remove labels from the unit.
Avoid rinsing the unit with water or using it in locations with easy access to water.
Do not direct the air outlet area towards a person.
When cleaning or repairing, ensure the power supply is removed. Do not use rubbing alcohol, gas, or any chemical agents.
If the unit will not be used for an extended period, unplug it, drain the water tank, and air dry it for at least 2 days.
Place the unit on a level and flat ground.
Ensure at least 20cm clearance on all four sides and 50cm on top, avoiding leaning against barriers or walls. A minimum area of 1m³ is recommended.
