Thereare3optionalaudiooutputmodes:SPDIF/OFF,SPDIF/RAWandSPDIF/PCM.
SPDIF/OFF:Choosethissettingtooutputanalogsignal,andtherewillbenodigitalsignal
outputfromancoaxialoutputjack.
SPDIF/RAW:ChoosethissettingifyourDVDplayerisconnectedtoapoweramplifierwith
acoaxialcable.WhenplayingadiscrecordedwithDolbyDigitalandMPEGaudioformats,
thecorrespondingdigitalsignalswillbeoutputtedfromthecoaxialOutputjack.
SPDIF/PCM:ChoosethissettingifyourDVDplayerisconnectedtoa2-channeldigital
stereoamplifier.WhenplayingadiscrecordedwithDolbyDigitalandMPEGaudioformats,
audiosignalswillbemodulatedintoa2-channelPCMsignal,anditwillbeoutputtedfromthe
coaxialOutputjack.
