Add unit
Here, you connect your wireless units. Press "Add unit"
and follow the guide that is launched. You can also check
the connected units’ battery level and signal strength.
CONNECT TO NETWORK
RPP 10 must be connected to an outlet in order to con-
nect to a network.
If RPP 10 is flashing red (once every five seconds), it is
searching for a wireless network to connect to. If no
network is found, searching stops after 5 minutes. You
can start a new search by pressing and holding the
button on RPP 10 for 3 seconds.
If you need to test the range of the signal, RPP 10 can
be connected to the heat pump at close range and then
moved further away. Wait for at least 30 minutes. The
signal strength can then be read off in the heat
pump’s/control module’s menu system (menu 5.4).
To leave a network and reset RPP 10, press and hold
the button for 10 seconds and wait until the red LED
comes on for 5 seconds.
LOCATION
Place RPP 10 in an open space to achieve the best
range; you should therefore avoid locations such as
between shelves and behind curtains. In an open space,
RPP 10 has a maximum range of 30 m.
