How To Care For Your CXO™
With regular care and maintenance, your CXO™ will provide many years of
superior performance and satisfaction. To maintain the quality of your
Nightingale product, please follow the cleaning procedures outlined here.
Mechanism
Once a year lubricate using WD40 or similar product. (Spray with plastic
straw attached to sprayer) NOTE: To prevent dripping, avoid over
lubrication which may cause damage to surrounding surfaces.
ABLEX™ Mesh
Clean with mild detergent and water applied with a clean damp cloth
or sponge. Rinse with a damp (water) cloth and let dry. Never use
hot water and avoid scrubbing. Use gentle movements.
Plastic parts
To clean spray with a mild detergent and wipe off using a damp
(water) cloth. Do not use abrasives or excessive amounts of cleaner.
Frame
Powder coat frames can be cleaned by wiping with a damp
cloth and any mild detergent.

How To Use and Adjust CXO Chair

Pneumatic Height Adjustment

Adjust chair height by rotating the paddle clockwise or counter-clockwise.

Seat Slider Adjustment

Move seat forward or backward by lifting the lever bar and releasing to lock.

Infinite Tilt Lock

Lock or unlock tilt by rotating the paddle clockwise or counter-clockwise respectively.

Tension Knob Adjustment

Control tilt tension by turning the knob clockwise to increase or counter-clockwise to decrease.

Arm Height Adjustment

Raise or lower armrests by pulling the trigger upwards and moving to desired position.

Horizontal Arm Adjustment

Adjust armrest width by pulling out or pushing in from the bottom of the arm.

Arm Pivot Adjustment

Pivot armrests by pressing the front button on the pad; release to lock.

Arm Pad Depth Adjustment

Adjust arm pad depth by pressing the back button on the pad; release to lock.

Lumbar Support Adjustment

Adjust lumbar support horizontally (H1) and vertically (H2) for personalized comfort.

Headrest Height Adjustment

Lift headrest to desired position for automatic locking; lower by lifting to top first.

CXO Chair Care and Maintenance

Mechanism Lubrication

Lubricate mechanism annually with WD40 or similar. Avoid over-lubrication.

ABLEX Mesh Cleaning

Clean mesh with mild detergent and damp cloth. Rinse and air dry. Avoid hot water.

Plastic Parts Cleaning

Wipe plastic parts with mild detergent spray and a damp cloth. Avoid abrasives.

Frame Cleaning

Clean powder-coated frames by wiping with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
