Usage Features
General Operation
The device is operated via a series of buttons located on its front and side panels. It is crucial to read the manual carefully before first use. For optimal performance and safety, the appliance should be placed on a horizontal flat surface and connected to the mains. An optional CR2032 battery can be inserted to ensure the alarm radio remains operational during power outages. Incorrect battery installation can lead to leakage and corrosion, invalidating the guarantee.
Setting Date and Time
To set the date and time, the radio must first be turned off.
- Press and hold key (7) for 2 seconds until the date flashes.
- Use keys (8) or (12) to set the desired year, then press (7) to confirm.
- Repeat this process for setting the month and day.
- For time setting, the digital time indication will flash. Use keys (8) or (12) to choose between 24 or 12-hour display, then press (7) to confirm.
- Set the desired hour and minutes using keys (8) or (12), confirming each with key (7).
Using the Radio
- Switch to radiomode by pressing key (11). The current frequency will be shown on the display.
- Manually Adjusting Frequency: Repeatedly press button (8) or (12) until the desired station is found.
- Automatically Adjusting Frequency: Press and hold button (8) or (12) to automatically search for the desired frequency.
- Saving a Radiostation: Press and hold key (4) for 2 seconds until the digits flash. Use keys (8) or (12) to select a memory location (3 available), then press (4) to confirm.
- Activating a Stored Function: Repeatedly press button (4) until the desired frequency is found.
Setting the Timer (Sleep Timer)
While listening to the radio, press button (6) multiple times to set the "switch-off" time between 90 and 10 minutes. After the set time, the radio will automatically switch off.
Using the Projection Function
The NR280PRABBIT includes a projection function that can display time or temperature.
- Turn the projection function on or off by pressing button (17).
- Focusing the Projection: Turn key (18) until the desired sharpness is achieved.
- Turning the Projection 180 Degrees: Press button (16).
- Switching between Time and Temperature Projection: Press and hold key (16) for 2 seconds.
Note: When the alarm radio is first connected to the power supply, the projection function is immediately activated.
Setting the Timer (Nap Timer)
To set the nap timer, ensure the radio is off.
- Press button (4). "N90" will appear on the display, indicating the number of minutes until the beep is activated.
- Press button (4) repeatedly until the desired setting is found.
Setting the Display
To set the display timer:
- Press and hold key (4) for 3 seconds. The display will automatically disappear after 15 seconds. An orange bar will appear on the display when the timer is set.
- To disable the display timer, press and hold key (4) for 3 seconds again.
Setting the Alarm
The device allows for setting and activating two alarms. Ensure the radio is off before proceeding.
- Press button (9). An orange bar will appear above AL1, indicating the alarm is activated. "7:00" will appear on the display.
- Press and hold key (9) for 2 seconds until the hours flash.
- Use keys (8) or (12) to set the desired hour, then press (9) to confirm.
- The minutes will flash. Use keys (8) or (12) to set the desired minutes, then press (9) to confirm.
- "1-5" will flash, allowing you to set the alarm days:
- 1-5: Monday to Friday
- 1-7: Monday to Sunday
- 6-7: Saturday and Sunday
- 1-1: Setting one single day (choose 1 for Monday, 2 for Tuesday, etc.).
- Press (9) to confirm.
- Choose between an alarm sound or radio sound using keys (8) or (12), then press (9) to confirm.
- The volume will flash. Use keys (8) or (12) to set the desired volume (1 is minimum, 15 is maximum), then press (9) to confirm.
- The brightness will flash. Use keys (8) or (12) to set the brightness for the wake-up light function, then press (9) to confirm. The light will switch on 5 minutes before the alarm, gradually increasing in brightness.
- Snooze Function: To snooze the alarm, press button (6). The alarm will sound again after the default snooze time of 9 minutes.

Cleaning and Maintenance
- Safety First: Before performing any cleaning or maintenance, always switch off and unplug the appliance.
