Operation
Interpupillary distance
1) Adjusting interpupillary distance
While looking at a subject through the eyepieces, gently rotate the binocular body until
the two images of the subject become one (as shown below).
2) While looking through the binoculars, move them closer to or away from your eyes
until there is no shadow in the viewed image.
For eyeglass wearers, pressing your glasses against the rubber eyecup makes it
easier to nd the correct distance.
3) Focusing the subject.
Rotate the focusing ring counterclockwise to see near subjects.
Rotate the focusing ring clockwise to see more distant subjects.
If the eyesight of your left and right eyes greatly diers, focus binoculars with the
most comfortable eye (usually the dominant eye).
