defects

workmanship

components
and

a

twenty-five

years

date
of
purchase
for
non-electronic
components.
During
the
one
(1)
year
period
or
twenty-five

year
period,

applicable,
Nikon
Inc.
will,
at
its
option
and
without
charge,
either
repair
any
part
or
assembly
of
parts
which
is
found
to
be
defective
in
material
or
workmanship,
or
replace
this
Nikon
product
with
a
Nikon
product
of
comparable
value
and
condition,
subject
to
the
following
limitations
and
exclusions:
1.
This
warranty
extends
to
the
original
consumer
purchaser
only
and
is
not
assignable
or
transferable.
2.
This
warranty
shall
not
apply
to
any
product
which
has
been
subject
to
misuse,
alteration,
abuse,
negligence
or
accident.
3.
This
warranty
shall
not
apply
to
any
defects
or
damage
directly
or
indirectly
caused
by
the
use
of
unauthorized
replacement
parts
and/or
service
performed
by
unauthorized
personnel.
4.
This
warranty
shall
not
apply
to

Warranty

Continental
United
States,
Alaska,
Hawaii,
Puerto
Rico
and
US
Virgin
Islands.
The
above
warranty
is
expressly
in
lieu
of
all
other
warranties
expressed
or
implied
including
but
not
limited
to
any
implied
warranty
of
merchantability
or
fitness
for
particular
purpose,
except
to
the
extent
prohibited
by
applicable
law,
in
which
event
the
duration
of
any
implied
warranty
shall
be
limited
to
one
(1)
year
or
twenty-five
(25)
years,
as
applicable,
from
the
date
of
purchase

such
longer
period

liability

returning

prepay
all
postage,

to
