Charge the battery
At the end of each use of the bicycle it is advisable to always recharge the battery. Keeping the battery charged at
all times extends its life.
The battery can be charged either by leaving it on the bicycle or by removing it.
It is compulsory to use the supplied battery charger and observe the instructions on it.
ATTENTION: do not use other battery chargers that are not approved by the manufacturer. They could cause
damage to the battery and limit its life.
Before charging the battery, carefully read the following instructions and follow them during the process.
14. Use only the supplied battery charger.
15. Keep both the battery charger and the battery away from children and pets
16. The charging operation must be carried out in a spacious, cool and dry place; away from direct heat sources
and humidity.
17. If the charging operation takes place with the battery housed in the bicycle, make sure that it is firmly and
stable on the stand and turned off.
18. During charging, it is normal for the charger to warm up.
19. Do not cover the battery charger.
20. Keep the plugs of the battery charger and the battery always clean and dry.
21. Do not wet the battery charger.
22. Do not use the battery charger and / or the battery if they are damaged.
23. Always connect the charger first to the battery and then to the power outlet.
24. Do not carry out the charging process in direct sunlight.
When the bicycle is turned on, using the switch (Pic. 21) it is possible to check the remaining
charge status by pressing the button next to the indicators (Pic. 24). The LEDs light up as
follows:
o 4 leds: 100% residual charge
o 3 leds : 70 % residual charge
o 2 leds : 40% residual charge
o 1 led (red): till 15% residual charge (charge the battery as soon as possible)
