25. Do not use the battery charger for other purposes or for other devices.
26. Voltage dips during charging cycles may damage the battery.

How to recharge the battery
10. Place the battery near a power outlet.
11. Open the rubber cap on the back of the battery (Pic. 25)
12. Connect the battery charger (Pic. 26).
13. Place the battery charger on the ground or on a flat, non-slippery surface and connect it to the electricity
supply.
14. Connect the charger to the power supply.
15. On the battery charger there is a led indicator. The LED is RED when the battery is connected to the current and
is being charged (Pic. 27).
16. When fully charged, the charge status light will turn GREEN.
17. Disconnect the charger from the power supply, then remove the plug from the battery.
18. If removed previously, replace the battery in its seat in the bicycle.
AFTER 5 HOURS OF RECHARGING, EVEN IF THE LED REMAINS RED, DISCONNECT THE BATTERY
AND CHECK THE STATE OF CHARGE
It is possible, after several charging cycles, that the GREEN light on the battery charger does not turn on. This need not
worry. Proceed with another hour of charging, without exceeding 6 hours in total and disconnect the battery charger.
The battery will still be charged and you can use the bicycle.
If you suspect, however, that the battery charger is damaged, contact the service center.
Battery charger maintenance
Seguire le seguenti istruzioni di manutenzione per il carica-batteria:
Quando la carica della batteria è finita, staccare prima il cavo dalla presa di corrente 220V e successivamente
il cavo di alimentazione della batteria.
Conservare il carica batterie in ambiente asciutto e pulito.
Il carica batteria non richiede alcuna manutenzione. E’ vietata qualunque apertura o manomissione.
In caso di guasti, rivolgersi al Centro Assistenza.
Se il cavo è danneggiato la sostituzione deve essere fatta da un Centro Assistenza.
Se la temperatura del carica batteria dovesse alzarsi troppo (oltre 65°C), si avvertirà un odore sgradevole:
interrompere immediatamente la carica e contattare il Centro Assistenza.
Battery charging time
The battery is partially charged. Fully charge the battery before first use. The complete recharge of the lithium battery
normally takes 5-6 hours.
Never leave the battery charged for whole days or whole nights exceeding the maximum time of 6 hours. The battery
could be damaged.
Even if properly maintained, the rechargeable battery is not eternal. Each time the battery is discharged and
recharged, its capacity decreases by a very small percentage. It is possible to extend the life of the battery by carefully
following the instructions provided for charging.
