The Ninja Foodi FT300 Series Dual Heat Air Fry Oven is a versatile kitchen appliance designed for countertop use, offering a range of cooking functions with both dual heat and air oven modes. This owner's guide provides comprehensive instructions for its operation, maintenance, and safe use.
Function Description:
The Ninja Foodi Dual Heat Air Fry Oven combines two distinct cooking technologies: Dual Heat functions and Air Oven Mode functions, allowing for a wide variety of meal preparations.
Dual Heat Functions: These functions require the high-density pan to preheat with the oven, ensuring optimal results for specific cooking tasks.
- Sear Crisp: Achieves contact searing for larger proteins and large-cut sheet pan meals, providing a crispy exterior.
- Rapid Bake: Utilizes contact cooking to jumpstart doughs for extra rise and external texture development, ideal for baked goods.
- Frozen Pizza: Specifically designed to cook frozen pizzas, from thin to thick crust, often 30%-50% faster than average box instructions.
- Fresh Pizza: Quickly cooks homemade pizzas for deliciously crisp crusts.
- Griddle: Achieves light browning on breakfast foods, quesadillas, sandwiches, and more.
Air Oven Mode Functions: These functions do not require the high-density pan to preheat with the oven, making them suitable for everyday air frying and roasting.
- Air Fry: Makes fast, extra-crispy foods like chicken wings, French fries, and chicken nuggets with little to no added oil.
- Air Roast: Achieves a crispy outside and perfectly cooked inside for full-sized sheet pan meals, thicker proteins, and roasted veggies.
- Broil: Broils meat and fish and evenly browns the tops of casseroles.
- Bake: Evenly bakes cookies, brownies, cakes, and more.
- Toast: Evenly toasts up to 9 slices of bread to a desired level of darkness.
- Bagel: Perfectly toasts up to 6 bagel halves when placed cut-side up on the wire rack.

- Light Button: Turns the oven's interior light on/off. Automatically turns on with 1 minute of cook time remaining.
- Power Button: Turns the unit on and off.
- Accessory Placement: Specific rails are designated for each accessory depending on the function. The high-density pan must always be in the bottom rails for Dual Heat functions. The crumb tray is always placed below the bottom heating element.
- Power Cord Management: Designed to not interfere with the oven's flip-away functionality, with options for outlet placement on the left or behind the oven.
- Smoke Reduction: Recommends using specific oils (Canola, Refined Coconut, Avocado, Vegetable, Grapeseed) and avoiding others (Olive oil, Butter, Margarine) to limit smoke, especially when exceeding 400°F. Advises against spraying cooking spray on interior side walls or heating elements.
- Preheating: Dual Heat functions require preheating the high-density pan before adding food. Air Oven Mode functions do not require preheating the high-density pan, but preheating the oven itself takes about 60 seconds.
- Food Loading: For Dual Heat functions, food is placed on the preheated high-density pan. A hook on the left side of the bottom rails helps stabilize the pan when pulled out partially for loading.
- Cooking Monitoring: Users can open the oven door to check on or flip ingredients during cooking.
- Time and Temperature Adjustment: Cook time and temperature can be adjusted at any time during the cooking cycle.
- Error Messages: The oven displays error codes ("Er0" through "Er7") if a malfunction occurs, prompting users to contact Customer Service.
- Troubleshooting: Addresses common issues such as the oven not turning on, food being under/overcooked, heating elements turning on/off, steam from the door, water dripping, and fan noise.

- Before First Use: Remove all packaging, wash the air fry basket, wire rack, and crumb tray in warm, soapy water. Wash the high-density pan thoroughly in hot, soapy water. Run an initial Air Fry cycle at 450°F for 20 minutes without food to remove packaging residue and odors.
