Cleaning:
Unplug the cable after use and let the steam steriliser cool down in order to avoid the risk of an
electric shock, injury or damage. Therefore, unplug the steam steriliser from the socket before
any cleaning or descaling. Do not immerse the cable, plug or steam steriliser in water or other
liquids. Remove the water from the steam steriliser for hygienic reasons. Wipe the outside and
inside with a damp cloth. (Do not use any abrasives, antibacterial cleaning agents, chemical
solvents or sharp tools for the cleaning). Never immerse the heating device in water. Only
clean the steam steriliser when it has cooled down. The upper basket and bottle basket are
dishwasher-safe.
Note: Natural food colouring can discolour plastic parts and the heating device. However, this
does not affect its use.
Descaling:
We recommend descaling the steam steriliser every two weeks to ensure that the steam sterili-
ser continues to work properly. Limescale is deposited on the heating device (depending on the
hardness of the tap water used). Remove this at regular intervals to ensure that the steam steri-
liser works effectively. Limescale can signicantly impair the performance of the steam steriliser.
1. We recommend adding a little citric acid and 100 ml of boiling water to the steam steriliser
and leaving it to take effect for a few minutes to remove limescale on the heating device. Use
a commercially available descaling agent only for very heavy limescale deposits (follow the
manufacturer‘s instructions for use). CAUTION! Never use chemical solutions or cleaningtablets.
1. Then empty the heating device and clean it thoroughly with clean water. Do not rinse the
steam steriliser under the tap.
3. Repeat the process if there are still traces of limescale.
ATTENTION! Avoid the cleaning agent coming into contact with your eyes. Keep the
cleaning agents out of the reach of children.
Recycling (within and outside the EU):
Never dispose of the device in the normal household waste!
Waste electrical and electronic equipment must be disposed of separately in accordan-
ce with EU Directive 2012/19/EU that stipulates the proper collection, treatment and recycling
of used electrical and electronic equipment. Private households can now dispose of their used
electrical and electronic equipment free of charge at designated collection facilities following
the introduction of the directive in EU member states. (Please contact your local authority for
more details). Find out about the local regulations for the separate disposal of electrical and
electronic products. Observe the local regulations and never dispose of the device in the normal
household waste. The proper disposal of waste equipment protects the environment and people
from the negative effects.
Guarantee and warranty:
We provide a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase in addition to the warranty obli-
gations of the seller. The wear parts are excluded from the warranty. The warranty conditions
