eliminated by the steam sterilisation. The steam steriliser can be used to sterilise all common
glass and plastic baby bottles and their accessories with steam, and to gently cook food. The
steam steriliser works automatically with hot steam and without the addition of chemicals. The
water added is heated to approx. 100 °C by the heating plate in the lower part of the device and
rapidly generates steam.
What to consider before the steam sterilisation:
Check that the steam steriliser is not damaged! Choose a rm, at and dry position. Lift up the
upper basket and remove the bottle basket from the steam steriliser. All you need to do is ca-
refully clean both baskets and the lid with a mild cleaning agent before you rst use the device.
(Please refer to the “Cleaning” section for more cleaning and descaling information). Dry all
parts thoroughly. The parts to be sterilised must always be rinsed thoroughly and any food resi-
dues must be removed. Only clean parts ensure reliable steam sterilisation. Only place items in
the steam steriliser that are suitable for sterilisation. Do not sterilise any objects that are lled
with liquid, e.g.  Do
not sterilise any objects that are so small that they can fall through the holes in the bottom of
the basket. Only use normal tap water without any additives for the sterilisation process. Note:
Slight odours may occur during the initial heating processes. Therefore, make sure that there is
sufcient ventilation. A maximum of 6 wide neck bottles or 6 standard bottles t into the steam
steriliser. The sterilisation process lasts for 9 minutes. IMPORTANT! Do not reposition or

Instructions for use:
1. Insert the mains plug into the socket.
2. Position the bottles in the bottle basket with the opening facing downwards and make sure
that the steam reaches all surfaces and the condensation can drain away. All accessories,
such as soothers, bottle teats, sealing discs etc., can also be sterilised. Place the accesso-
ries in the upper basket and then place the upper basket onto the bottle basket.
3. Add 90 ml of tap water to the heating device (6). Use a baby bottle or measuring beaker to
measure this. The steam steriliser does not generate sufcient steam if less than 90 ml of
water is added. The sterilisation process is extended if more than 90 ml of water is added.
4. Place the bottle basket with its contents onto the heating device and place the upper basket
onto the bottle basket. Make sure that the upper basket is sitting straight on the bottle
basket and that the lid of the upper basket is closed. You can also sterilise only accessories,
for example, by only using the upper basket without previously inserting the bottle basket.
5. The main switch used to switch the steam steriliser on or off is located on the back of the
heating device.
6. Press the on/off button on the front. The display comes on, the sterilisation process starts
and last for 9 minutes. The sterilisation is only guaranteed if the sterilisation process is not
interrupted or shortened.
7. The steam steriliser switches off automatically after 9 minutes of sterilisation.
8. Turn off the main switch on the back of the heating device and pull the mains plug out of the
socket.
IMPORTANT! Let the steam steriliser cool down for at least 5 minutes before removing
the contents.
9. Open the lid only using the grey handle. Pour away the residual water after removing all
parts from the steam steriliser.
Beware of the hot steam that can escape from the steam steriliser! IMPORTANT!
The steam steriliser must cool down for at least 10 minutes between two processes so that
the thermostat can reset again. Note: Ensure that the device is descaled on a regular basis
to ensure that it works effectively. (Please refer to the “Cleaning” section for cleaning and
descaling information).
10. Let the steam steriliser cool down before you move it or put it away.
Using the steam steriliser for cooking food:
General cooking information: The gentle steam cooking method warms up food and retains the
quality and succulence as well as the high vitamin content in food. The cooking times for food
depends on the amount of water used in each case. The steam steriliser switches off automati-
cally if the water evaporates.
Cooking time chart
Approx. cooking times* Amount of water
9 min 90 ml
15 min 150 ml
20 min 210 ml

* Example: You need 90 ml of water to cook food for 9 min. with steam.
1. Insert the mains plug into the socket.
2. The main switch used to switch the steam steriliser on or off is located on the back of the
heating device.
3. Add the tap water to the heating device. Please refer to the cooking time chart for the requi-
red amount of water. Use a baby bottle or measuring beaker to measure this.
4. Place the food, such as sh, egg or cubed vegetables, in the upper basket and place this
onto the heating device. Make sure that the upper basket is sitting straight on the heating
device and that the lid of the upper basket is closed.
5. Press the on/off button on the front - the cooking process will start.
IMPORTANT! Do not reposition or move the steam steriliser when it is heating up or lled
with hot water.
6. The steam steriliser switches off automatically after the cooking process as soon as the
water has evaporated.
7. Let the steam steriliser cool down for at least 5 minutes.
8. Turn off the main switch on the back of the heating device and pull the mains plug out of the
socket.
9. Take the food out of the steam steriliser and pour away the residual water.
Beware of the hot steam that can escape from the steam steriliser!
IMPORTANT! The steam steriliser must cool down for at least 10 minutes between two
processes so that the thermostat can reset again.
10. Let the steam steriliser cool down and clean it thoroughly (please refer to the “Cleaning”
section for cleaning and descaling information) before you use it again, move it or put it away.
