Use only Genuine NISSAN CVT Fluid NS-3. Using
transmission fluid other than Genuine NISSAN CVT
Fluid NS-3 will damage the Xtronic transmission.
Such damage is not covered by the warranty.

NISSAN MT-XZ Gear oil passenger vehicles 75W-80 or
equivalent
If Genuine NISSAN gear oil (NISSAN MT-XZ Gear Oil
Passenger Vechicles) is not available, API GL-4,
Viscosity SAE 75W-80 may be used as a temporary
replacement. However, use Genuine NISSAN gear oil
(NISSAN MT-XZ Gear Oil Passenger Vehicles) as
soon as it is available.

Brake fluid — —
Genuine NISSAN Brake Fluid or equivalent DOT 3 or
DOT4
Refill to the proper fluid level according to the instruc-
tions in the “8. Maintenance and do-it-yourself” section.
Do not mix different type of fluids (DOT3 and DOT4).
Multi-purpose grease — — NLGI No. 2 (Lithium soap base)
Air conditioner system refrigerant — — HFO-1234yf (R1234yf)
Air conditioner system lubricants — — NISSAN A/C System Oil YR20 (POE) or equivalent
