WARNING:
. Be sure to read and follow the instructions in
this section.
. DO NOT GET UNDER A VEHICLE THAT IS
SUPPORTED BY A JACK.
. Never use a jack which was not provided
with your vehicle.
. The jack, which is provided with your vehicle,
is designed only to lift your vehicle during a
tire change. Do not use the jack provided
with your vehicle on other vehicles.
. Never jack up the vehicle at a location other
than the jack-up point that is specified.
. Never lift the vehicle more than necessary.
. Never use blocks on or under the jack.
. Do not extend the jack further than the
yellow mark

. Never start or run the engine while the
vehicle is on the jack. The vehicle may move
suddenly, and this may cause an accident.
. Never allow passengers to remain in the
vehicle while the tire is off the ground.
. Be sure to read the caution label attached to
the jack body before using.
1. Place the jack directly under the jack-up point as
illustrated (

the jack contacts the vehicle at the jack-up point.
The jack should be placed on firm level
ground.
2. Align the jack head as illustrated (

the rear side of the vehicle,

side of the vehicle) to fit the groove of the jack
head to the jack-up point.
3. Loosen each wheel nut, counterclockwise, one or
two turns with the wheel nut wrench.
Do not remove the wheel nuts until the tire is
off the ground.
4. Carefully raise the vehicle until the clearance
between the tire and ground is achieved.
5. To lift the vehicle, securely hold the jack handle
and rod with both hands and turn the jack handle

Removing tire

1. Remove the wheel nuts.
2. Remove the damaged tire.
CAUTION:
. The tire is heavy. Be sure that your feet are
clear from the tire and use gloves as
necessary to avoid injury.
. Do not remove the brake drum with the tire.
