If you must use the fire extinguisher, follow the
instructions below.
1. Remove the fire extinguisher from the bracket.
2. Pull out the safety ring (yellow).
3. Remove the hose from the holder and aim the
nozzle at the base of the fire.
4. Squeeze the handles to release the chemical.

When towing your vehicle, local regulations for towing
must be followed. Incorrect towing equipment could
damage your vehicle. To assure proper towing and to

have the professional road assistant carefully read the
following precautions.

. Be sure that the transmission, steering system,
and powertrain are in working condition before
towing. If any units are damaged, the vehicle must
be towed using a dolly or flatbed tow truck.
. NISSAN recommends that your vehicle be towed
with the driving (rear) wheels off the ground.

1. Turn the ignition switch to the “OFF” position.
2. Secure the steering wheel in a straight-ahead
position with rope or a similar device.
3. Move the selector lever (Automatic transmission
model) to the “P” (Park) position or shift lever
(Manual transmission model) to the “N” (Neutral)
position.
