The seal and piston assembly (Figure
8-88
should
be
installed into the Adapter, (Item
#12) by carefully inserting the seal and piston assembly into adapter and pushing it flush
with the adapter end
(Figure 8-89).

3.
The Adjustable Stop, (Item #3) should be lightly coated with anti-seize compound prior
to
assembly. The stop is made out
of
gall-resistant bronze and does not require
lubrication; however the use of lubrication should provide additional wear resistance
under heavy-duty, continuous cycling.
