Update phone software
using your PC
Update your phone software with the
Nokia Suite PC app. You can also back
up the photos and other stuff in your
phone to your computer.
You need a compatible PC, a high-
speed internet connection, and a
compatible USB cable to connect
your phone to the PC.

You can update your phone software
wirelessly. You can also set your
phone to automatically check for
updates.
You can only update your software
when using the SIM in the internal SIM
holder.
Select Menu > Settings and
Device > Device updates.
1. To check if there is an update,
select Current sw details.
2. To download and install an
update, select Downl. device sw, then
follow the instructions shown on the
phone.
The update may take several
minutes. If you encounter problems,
contact your network service
provider.
