If the transmission is interrupted, the phone tries to re-send the
message a few times. If the transmission fails, the message remains in
the Outbox folder where you can try to re-send it later.
The wireless network may limit the size of MMS messages. If the inserted
picture exceeds this limit, the device may make it smaller so that it can be
sent by MMS.
Reading and replying to a multimedia message
Important: Exercise caution when opening messages.
Multimedia message objects may contain malicious software or
otherwise be harmful to your device or PC.
When the phone is receiving a multimedia message, the animated
indicator is displayed. When the message has been received, the
indicator and the text Multimedia message received are shown.
If the indicator blinks, the memory for multimedia messages is full.
For information on deleting messages, see "Deleting messages" on page
27.
1. Press Show to view the received message immediately.
To view the message later, press Exit. When you want to read the
message, press Menu and select Messages, Multimedia msgs. and
Inbox. Select the desired message from the list. indicates an unread
message.
2. Scroll through the message. If the message contains a slide
presentation, the presentation is played automatically.
