If a received message contains any unsupported elements, they are replaced by a
fixed text Object format not supported.
The size of the multimedia message can be a maximum of 30 KB. If the size of the
message exceeds 30 KB, you will not be able to receive the message. Depending on
your network operator or service provider, you may receive an SMS, which
contains an Internet address where you can view the multimedia message. If the
multimedia message contains images larger than the display, the phone scales
them down to fit the display area.
Note: The default setting of the multimedia message service is on (Allow
multimedia reception is set to Yes), and your operator or service provider may
charge you for every message you receive.
Multimedia messaging settings
Press Menu, select Messages, Message settings and Multimedia msg.. Select
• Allow multimedia reception - choose No, Yes or Home network to use the
multimedia service. If you choose Home network, you cannot receive
multimedia messages when outside your own network.
• Incoming multimedia messages - choose one of the following:
• Reject not to receive multimedia messages, and a notification of this is sent
to the network.
• Retrieve to receive multimedia messages.
• Allow adverts to receive or reject adverts.
